At times we may feel like God doesn’t hear our prayers. Maybe it even feels like He’s not listening to us. . We might even get into our heads that we did something wrong that made Him give up on us. Don’t worry because that is absolutely not the case. Sometimes we go through a period of silence not because He gives up on us but because sometimes that very silence is what makes us long for more. It makes us desire to hear His voice, to hit our knees and pray more. That period of silence is what brings the desire back. This is a relationship with Jesus and it takes real effort! Ask God to show you in your life what needs work and He will. .

-“Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.”
Psalms 62:5-7 NLT
